DeepJyoti Samaj Sudhar Sanstha is a non-governmental, non-profit, and autonomous organization committed to driving sustainable community development through active participation, social inclusion, and empowerment. Since its establishment in 1995 under the Social Organization Registration Act 2034 BS, DeepJyoti has been a trusted force for positive change in Dolakha District and beyond.

Formally registered with the District Administration Office of Dolakha (Reg. No. 94-052/053) on Bhadra 20, 2052 BS (September 5, 1995), our organization is also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (Aff. No. 3488) and NGO Federation Dolakha (Aff. No. 1721).

Today, we are powered by 65 dedicated members—including 58 life members—and led by an 11-member Executive Committee that reflects gender balance and social diversity. This includes 4 women leaders and representatives from Dalit and ethnic communities, ensuring that our leadership truly mirrors the people we serve.

Our Focus Areas
