DeepJyoti Samaj Sudhar Sanstha (DJSSS) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and autonomous social organization working for sustainable community development in Dolakha District, Nepal. The organization was established in 1995 and is registered under the Social Organization Registration Act 2034 BS at the District Administration Office, Dolakha. Since its inception, DeepJyoti has been committed to improving the quality of life of marginalized and vulnerable communities through inclusive, participatory, and people-centered approaches.
DeepJyoti is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) and the NGO Federation Dolakha, enabling it to work in close coordination with government agencies, development partners, and local stakeholders. The organization is guided by an elected Executive Committee of 11 members, ensuring transparent governance, accountability, and community representation, including women, Dalit, and ethnic community members.

Mission
To improve the health, education, and living conditions of community people through integrated interventions in multiple sectors, including education, health and sanitation, sustainable development, income generation, disaster risk reduction, and livelihood improvement. DeepJyoti prioritizes Dalits, ethnic groups, women, children, and economically disadvantaged communities by mobilizing local resources and promoting inclusive social and political processes.
