Development is more sustainable when citizens understand their rights, participate in planning and have a voice in decisions affecting their communities.
Through the Social Mobilization Programme, DeepJyoti supported Ward Citizen Forums and Citizen Awareness Centres, while facilitating participatory planning, government campaigns and Reflect classes.
The programme helped create spaces where community members could come together, discuss local priorities and engage more actively with local development processes.
