Following the earthquake, communities needed both immediate health support and stronger local health infrastructure.
The Health Recovery Project combined community awareness with practical support. DeepJyoti conducted 255 awareness events, provided household counselling to 1,791 households, and distributed hygiene kits to 345 children.
The project also supported the construction of two health posts, helping strengthen access to essential health services for communities in affected areas.
The result was an approach to recovery that addressed both immediate needs and longer-term community health.
