The earthquake left many families in Dolakha without safe places to live. For affected households, having a secure shelter was the first step toward rebuilding their lives.
Through the Temporary Shelter Programme, DeepJyoti supported the construction of 266 temporary shelters and 250 household toilets. Alongside physical support, the programme reached approximately 1,000 households with awareness on safer and earthquake-resilient housing.
For families who had lost their homes, the support provided more than a structure—it created a safer environment from which they could begin the long process of recovery.
